PURPOSE: Provide on-time delivery of Nucor Rebar Fabrication products to customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values. Drive a 1-tonne truck to make on-time deliveries of rebar and related products to customers. Load and unload materials. Adhere to safe driving regulations. Maintain orderly paperwork. Perform other duties as required by supervisor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Valid CDL Class 3 license High school diploma or GED Knowledge of Provincial regulations Safe driving record Excellent customer service PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION Forklift driving experience is considered an asset BENEFITS Extended health, dental and vision care benefits RRSP program with employer match Stock purchase program with employer match Scholarship opportunities Career growth opportunities SPECIAL DEMANDS Overtime hours may be required during peak seasons When not making deliveries, may be required to work in the warehouse loading and unloading materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, etc. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit (driving) for long periods of time and climb onto trailers to secure loads, tie/untie product, etc. Heavy lifting of materials is required.
