Purpose: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance team to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrate conduct consistent with NIPG’s vision and values. Provide leadership in the areas of safety, reliability, team development, cost control, and project management. Develop and implement reliability-based maintenance programs to support the optimal performance of plant equipment. Supervise and provide direction to maintenance tradespeople. Plan, prioritize, and assign resources for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Ensure planned and unplanned maintenance work is completed effectively. Allocate maintenance resources appropriately throughout each shift to support operational needs. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop maintenance team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications 6-10 years of industrial maintenance experience. Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience. BSc degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar) OR (433A) Industrial Millwright OR (442A) Industrial electrician certificate of qualification. Candidates must have 6-10 years of industrial maintenance experience and at least 5 years of supervisory experience. A BSc in Engineering or a professional trade certification (Millwright or Electrician) is required.
