Job summary

Position Scope The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for experienced 740 and 777 Haul Truck Operators with large earthworks construction / mining project experience. We offer: 2 week on / 2 week off rotations; 12-hour days; nights Fly in / Fly out Competitive hourly rate with Overtime pay. Commercial flights and accommodations are covered Responsibilities Some Key Responsibilities: Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities. Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns. Drive articulated haul trucks along dsignated mine, quarry, or heavy construction routes. Complete production reporting and other documentation as required. Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members. Utilize tow-way radios to coordinate loading and dumping zones with excavators and dispatch. Operate other heavy equipment if required. Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Qualifications: 2 Years experience operating Off Highway Haul Trucks and Articulated Haul Trucks in a road building, mining, and/or industrial setting. Operating experience on remote Civil Construction/Heavy Construction Project sites Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life. Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades). Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions. Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness.
