We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. In this dual-support role, you will act as the welcoming face of our clinic while providing hands-on clinical and administrative assistance to our veterinarians and technicians. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support: Assist veterinary staff with patient restraint during examinations, blood draws, and X-rays. Facility Maintenance: Keep the reception area, exam rooms, and common spaces clean, tidy, and low-stress for animals. Client Service: Greet pet parents and patients warmly, answer multi-line phone calls, and manage clinic emails. Scheduling: Book appointments, coordinate follow-ups, and make reminder calls for vaccinations. Administrative Tasks: Update patient records, process financial transactions, handle billing, and manage invoices. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma required; completion of a Veterinary Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program is a strong asset. Previous front-desk, customer service, or animal handling experience. Compassionate, patient, and clear communication style. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with veterinary practice software.
