What OCL Offers Competitive CLAC base rate: $57.17/hr Vacation and stat holiday pay Benefits, RRSP, Pension Overtime pay (Time and a half after 8 hours per day) Short term disability, long term disability, AD&D, life insurance, dependent life insurance Paid Training Travel allowance for both local residents and out of province residents What You’ll Be Doing As a key member of our maintenance team, you will lead and assist with critical shovel operations, ensuring our fleet remains at peak performance: Component change outs Undercarriage change outs Shovel splits Track frame change outs Bucket change outs General repair Maintenance and lube checks Work collaboratively and professionally with the crew and the client What You Bring Journey-certified Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET or Millwright with an Inter-provincial Red Seal Certification Must have a JM Off Road or Millwright Ticket A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience Preference will be given to individuals with previous shovel and mine equipment experience Must be ok with working night shifts Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract Aerial Work Platform (AWP) training an asset Must successfully complete a site pre-access drug and alcohol test and various client orientations CSTS/OSSA or BSO/CSO plus various other site specific training Confined Space, AWP, Fall Protection are required Crane and Rigging experience and training is an asset H2S Awareness is required WHMIS 2015 is required Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Great attitude towards health and safety Strong and independent work ethic Must be legally eligible to work Canada Why Work With Us Strong leadership that supports employees Opportunities for advancement Diverse projects Team-oriented culture Respectful workplace Safety is our top priority - we are committed to providing a safe work environment. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright certification with an Inter-provincial Red Seal. A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience and the ability to pass site-specific drug and alcohol testing are required.
