About The Role We are growing our team and currently recruiting for Journeyman & Apprentice Millwrights to join our dynamic, safety-focused industrial crew in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience and certification Opportunities for advancement A strong commitment to workplace safety and team culture Diverse, hands-on work across various industrial environments LOA based positions available $200/day Bi-weekly pay What You Will Be Doing Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments Perform predictive and operational procedures Repair or replace defective parts as needed Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems What We Are Looking For Registered Journeyperson Millwright Certification or Apprenticeship card Must have valid safety tickets: AWP, Fall Arrest and Confined Space, WHMIS Nice to have: Zoom boom, skid steer, forklift and overhead crane experience. What you’ll do
The role involves reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures, operating rigging equipment, and aligning and testing equipment. Millwrights will also perform repairs and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.
Requirements
Candidates must have a registered Journeyperson Millwright Certification or Apprenticeship card along with valid safety tickets. Experience in an industrial setting and strong communication skills are also required.
