About the Role ​We are looking for Senior Manager, OCS.ca & eCommerce to join the OCS in a brand new role and be responsible for the commercial performance, optimization, and day-to-day management of the OCS.ca channel. Serving as the business lead for Ontario's online cannabis retail channel, the role drives revenue growth, profitability, customer engagement, operational excellence, and a seamless, compliant customer experience. ​ ​Combining strong eCommerce expertise with commercial and financial leadership, the Senior Manager manages channel budgets, forecasts performance, and analyzes the key drivers of revenue, margin, fulfillment costs, and profitability. The role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities and delivering recommendations that improve channel performance and return on investment. ​ ​Working closely with Category Management, Digital Merchandising, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Customer Care, and Digital Experience, the Senior Manager uses channel performance data and customer insights to influence assortment decisions, optimize fulfillment, improve product discoverability, and drive sustainable channel growth. Acting as the central point of accountability for OCS.ca channel performance, the role translates strategy into measurable business outcomes.​ About Your Day ​​​Own the commercial performance of OCS.ca, including revenue, conversion, average order value, customer retention, profitability, and overall channel health. Develop and execute annual channel plans, budgets, forecasts, and growth strategies aligned with business objectives. Monitor channel financial performance and analyze results through a P&L lens to identify opportunities to improve profitability and return on investment. Lead channel performance reviews and provide actionable insights, reporting, and recommendations to senior leadership. Drive OCS.ca channel growth by leveraging customer, market, and industry insights to identify opportunities that improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction, while influencing product, assortment, promotional, and customer experience strategies in partnership with Category Management, Digital Merchandising and Finance Lead OCS.ca customer experience and product assortment strategy, establishing priorities and objectives for product search, navigation, taxonomy, discoverability and content in partnership with Digital Merchandising to achieve channel performance goals Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Care, and Operations teams to ensure channel readiness, inventory availability, service levels, and successful execution of key initiatives. Optimize fulfillment performance and experience, shipping costs, and cost-to-serve while maintaining a best-in-class customer experience. Identify operational risks, performance gaps, and continuous improvement opportunities, balancing customer, operational, regulatory, and financial objectives. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing eCommerce team while fostering cross-functional collaboration, accountability, customer-centricity, and data-driven decision-making. About You Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Digital Commerce, Retail Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in eCommerce, Digital Commerce, Retail, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), or Omnichannel environments. Proven experience managing the commercial performance of a significant digital sales channel, with accountability for revenue, customer, and financial results. Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. Strong financial acumen with experience managing channel performance through a P&L lens and making sound commercial decisions. Deep understanding of eCommerce performance drivers, including traffic, conversion, average order value, retention, and customer lifetime value. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage customer, digital, and operational data to drive business decisions and recommendations. Experience developing business cases, evaluating investment opportunities, and identifying growth and optimization initiatives. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across cross-functional teams. Strategic and customer-focused leader with a passion for growth, continuous improvement, and balancing long-term objectives with operational execution. About the Job Location: Toronto, ON near York Mills and Yonge Street Hours of Work: 36.25 a week Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Required Travel: Rare, usually within the GTA Compensation The target hiring range for this position is $137,000 - $147,000. This is a pay grade 8 role. Requirements
