About The Role: Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, with one weekend in every five. OCS are excited to be recruiting for a Landscape Gardener to join our team! Landscape Gardener Join Our Team as a Landscape Gardener Are you passionate about creating and maintaining outstanding outdoor environments? Do you take pride in delivering high standards of horticulture and grounds maintenance? We are looking for a motivated and reliable Landscape Gardener to join our Landscape team at OCS. Working across one of the UK's leading visitor attractions, you will help maintain and enhance the resort's landscapes, gardens, lawns and themed environments to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine grounds maintenance including mowing, strimming, edging, hedge cutting and pruning. Plant and maintain seasonal bedding, shrubs, trees and ornamental planting schemes. Assist with landscaping projects, turfing, planting and site improvements. Operate and maintain horticultural machinery and equipment safely and effectively. Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe for guests and colleagues. Identify and report defects, hazards and maintenance issues. Support sustainable landscaping practices and environmental initiatives. Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments across the resort. Adhere to all health and safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work. Essential What We're Looking For Previous experience working in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture or have a similar outdoor role. Good knowledge of plant care and landscape maintenance techniques. Experience using grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Desirable Relevant horticultural or landscaping qualifications. PA1/PA6 pesticide qualifications. Chainsaw certification. Tractor, ride-on mower or other machinery experience. First Aid qualification. Full UK driving licence. What We Offer The opportunity to work within a unique and dynamic resort environment.
