Role Description The Teacher for Biology - Online Classes will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned biology lessons to students through live virtual sessions and interactive online tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and organizing lessons, presenting complex biological concepts clearly, assigning and reviewing coursework, and providing timely feedback to support student progress. The teacher will monitor learner performance, address questions via chat or video, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles. This is a contract role and is fully remote, requiring reliable internet access and comfort with online teaching platforms. Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and Biology, with the ability to explain concepts at various academic levels. Proficiency in Teaching and Training, including experience delivering online or classroom-based instruction. Effective Communication skills, with the ability to engage students in a virtual setting and provide clear guidance. Competence in Lesson Planning, including developing structured, goal-oriented lesson plans and assessments. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field (advanced degrees or teaching certifications are an advantage). Experience with online learning platforms, digital tools, and basic troubleshooting for remote classes. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a professional, learner-focused approach. Prior experience preparing students for competitive exams or standardized tests in biology is beneficial.
