ABOUT TERAFLEX Teraflex provides electrical, communication and civil construction services for clients that include leading land and property developers; general contractors engaged in major transportation projects; and, federal, provincial and municipal governments Hydrovac Operator - Utility Construction About the Role We are looking for a dynamic individual with exceptional customer service and technical skills. The HydroVac Operator is accountable for operating and maintaining machinery and will be involved in labour type functions on a construction project. Accountabilities Include: * Operation of HydroVac Truck in a safe and professional manner * Interpretation of plans, diagrams, and utility locates * Accurate and timely completion of work * Adherence to Health and Safety standards * Effectively communicate with team members and Management on preparation and project coordination * Proficient in filling out documentation (daily work orders and tailboards) * Proactively report any project delays or issues to Supervisor * Daily safety inspection of all equipment and tools * Observe equipment maintenance schedule and advise Supervisor when repairs required * Perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor. Qualifications and Work Experience: * Minimum 2-years’ experience working on a HydroVac Truck * Book 7 understanding or certification (will provided training) * Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license with a clean driver’s record.
