The Olds College Broncos are looking for energetic and dedicated individuals to join our Game Day Staff for the 2026–27 season! Game Day Staff play a vital role in delivering a fun, safe, and engaging environment for players, coaches, officials, and fans during all Broncos home games. From announcing to stats to video production — there’s a role for everyone on our winning team! Application Details: * Final Deadline: Monday, September 15, 2026 * Successful applicants must be available for scheduled training and assigned game shifts * Wage: $15.45/hr Training Provided: All successful applicants will receive hands-on training for each Game Day Staff role. You’ll be introduced to the basics of every position, from technical roles like stats and webcast to fan-focused duties like admissions and announcing. Preference will be given once roles are determined. No prior experience is required — just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! We aim to build a confident and versatile team, so staff may be asked to rotate through different roles throughout the season. Available Game Day Positions: 🎤 Announcer Hype up the crowd! Responsible for reading scripted game notes, playing music, and engaging the audience throughout Broncos home games. 🎟️ Admissions Coordinator Manage ticket sales, collect payment, and sell Broncos swag — you’re the friendly first face fans see when they arrive! 📹 Webcast Coordinator Host ACACTV live broadcasts on game nights with filming and streaming equipment to ensure all home games are up and available on ACACTV. 🎥 Camera Operator Support ACACTV broadcasts by filming games and events. Work closely with the Webcast Coordinator for smooth production. ⏱️ Score Clock Operator Keep the official game time, manage substitutions, time-outs, goals, and sport-specific stats (e.g., volleyball assists or basketball fouls). 🕒 Shot Clock Operator Update shot counts live for hockey, and operate the 24-second shot clock for basketball — crucial for game flow and fairness. 📝 Score Sheet Operator Record goals, assists, penalties, and other key events. Collect rosters and confirm starting lineups with coaches pre-game. 📊 Statistics Spotter Call out live game stats (e.g., digs, shots, goals, fouls) to the stats recorder in real time. Knowledge of the sport is a bonus! 📈 Statistics Recorder Track and record game stats using official ACAC stat sheets or Presto Stats software, depending on the sport, as relayed by the spotter.
