Olymbec is currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team of electricians. The candidate will carry out work in the commercial and industrial sectors. By joining us, you will become a key member in the renovation and maintenance of our buildings, ensuring the safety of our tenants and the lifespan of our buildings. The Journeyman Electrician will be under the responsibility of the Director-Electrical Department. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems on commercial and industrial construction sites; Run conduits, pull wires, and install electrical boxes in walls or ceilings; Coordinate with other workers on site to ensure electrical systems integrate properly with the overall construction; Read and interpret schematics, plans, code requirements and standards; Knowledge of safety codes, building codes and regulations established by the CCQ, ensuring that installations comply with the required standards. Rigorously comply with health and safety standards on construction sites; Perform other related duties as required. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Hold a completed Diploma (DEP) in electricity; Hold a CCQ card (code 220), journeyman level; Hold a valid Quebec driver's license; Experience with working on construction sites; Experience in electrical renovation projects; Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness; Ensure health and safety a priority on a daily basis; Good physical condition; Ability to work in a team; Diversity and inclusion We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
