Olymbec is currently looking for a Fire Protection Mechanic/Pipefitter to join our Fire Safety team. The Fire Safety Department works closely with the Technology Department and is constantly evolving with the newest technologies. By joining us, you will become a key member in the prevention of incidents, ensuring the safety of our tenants and the integrity of our buildings. The Fire Protection Mechanic/Pipefitter will report to the Fire Protection Supervisor and the Fire Safety Director. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Install, modify, repair and maintain fire protection systems such as fire extinguishers, sprinklers, smoke detectors and piping, etc. * Carry out checks and inspections of fire protection systems. * Interpret blueprints and technical specifications. * Perform other related duties as required. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: * CCQ card holder, Pipefitter-code 416 and an ASP card. * Holder of a Quebec City driver's license, class 5. * Ability to lift and move heavy objects. * Certified for working at heights with scaffolding. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Ability to speak and read in French. * Attention to detail and analytical skills. Requirements

Must hold a CCQ Pipefitter card (code 416), an ASP card, and a valid Class 5 driver's license. Certification for working at heights with scaffolding and the ability to lift heavy objects are required.
