Omnitrans , part of a Fastfrate Group, is currently searching for a Sales Executive,Ground Logistics to join our Sales & Business development team in Montreal / Toronto. The Sales Executive is the direct link between Omnitrans and the customer. This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and growing the customer base for Omnitrans – with a strong focus on North American Ground Logistics in order to meet annual objectives. Have first-hand impact on our organization’s success by understating our products & services specific to Ground Logistics and hunt developmental opportunities for the business. The person will report into the Director of Sales while working closely on leads with the Director of Ground Logistics. Your expertise and connections in any mode of transport, FTL/LTL/Rail/Flatbed/Project Freight will be fully supported by the Director of Ground Logistics and the team as of the first load. Responsibilities Work closely with prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. Through direct sales representation, grow a loyal B2B customer base within a designated geographical area while strengthening the company’s position & market share within the territory. Analyze the customer base (currents & prospects) and target highest potential opportunities. Identify product gaps in the customer's current purchasing habits and create business plans to capitalize on opportunities and ultimately achieve sales goals. Manager their own daily schedule and utilize sales productivity tools such as Salesforce. Ensure successful integration of new business within the company network. Review monthly results / business plans and discuss sales strategies with Executive Sales and Ground Logistics Teams . Collaborate with a variety of departments to be a successful Sales Executive (credit, marketing, technical services, client success and customer service) Participate in the industry organizations to stay current, promote the Omnitrans brand, build relationships & network of contacts Participate in weekly sales meetings, training seminars & conferences as per company’s scheduled Additional duties as assigned What You Bring 3-5 years experience in Sales, previous experience in the North American Ground Logistics industry is required in any or all modes of transport; FTL/LTL/Rail/Flatbed/Project Freight Clear career progression with no more than 2 companies in the last 5 years More than 5 years’ experience in sales, previous experience in Customs Brokerage industry is a must Relevant College Diploma or bachelor’s degree Proven sales track record Has a consultative sales approach Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships and effectively implement strategic concepts Strong business acumen: Experience articulating ROI, Solution Selling Ability Excellent time and territory management skills Entrepreneurial and self-driven & motivated Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and smartphone Excellent communicational skills in French (for Montreal ) & English What We Offer Join a well-established international company with over 45 years of expertise in Customs Brokerage and Logistics services. Requirements
