Established in 1920, the OPFFA provides leadership, representation, education, and support to improve the personal and professional lives of Ontario's fire service professionals. In communities across Ontario, professional firefighters are available 24/7/365 days a year to respond quickly to serious medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials calls, industrial accidents, ice/water, and other technical rescues. Our members perform community outreach to educate the public on safety and fire prevention and support local charities. Our members are committed to serving their communities.
