Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pelvic Health Physiotherapist role based in the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area. The Pelvic Health Physiotherapist will assess and treat patients with pelvic floor and health conditions, including musculoskeletal and functional issues related to pelvic health. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing manual therapy and exercise prescriptions, and delivering patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and self-management. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the clinic, and participating in case discussions and interdisciplinary care. The physiotherapist will also support clinic initiatives, contribute to a positive patient experience, and uphold professional standards of practice and ethics. Qualifications Clinical expertise in pelvic health physiotherapy, including assessment and treatment of pelvic floor and related conditions. Strong skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and rehabilitation planning. Ability to provide clear, compassionate patient education and to build trust-based therapeutic relationships. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards. Graduation from an accredited Physiotherapy program and eligibility for licensure with the appropriate provincial regulatory body Post-graduate training or certification in pelvic health physiotherapy is strongly preferred. Experience in private practice, sports injury rehabilitation, or multidisciplinary clinical settings is an asset. Ability to manage a full caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
