Responsibilities include: Mining: Assist with annual operating and capital budgets, forecasting, execution, and reporting Recommend and implement department engineering processes and procedures Project Management: Support McClean Lake Mining (MLM) in safely achieving production targets, while addressing short and long-term challenges Guide consulting engineering and project delivery services in the development and execution of engineered designs and projects Assist in managing project delivery, including costs, schedules, quality, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) Understand and administer management of change (MOC) to facility changes Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures Promote and adhere to Orano Canada’s values: Safety and Security, Team Spirit and Cohesion, Continuous Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Ethics, Transparency and Dialogue, Respect and People Development Skills and Qualifications for the position include: A university degree in Engineering; mining specialization is preferred. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must complete Orano’s pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks. Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all Safety Sensitive positions. Candidates must hold a university degree in Engineering, preferably with a mining specialization, and be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan. The position requires 3 to 5+ years of progressive mine engineering experience and proficiency in Microsoft Project.
