JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Processor will be responsible for vehicle processing and draining appropriate fluids from cars and removing non-ferrous material. Interpro Recycling is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and injury-free environment. It is required for all jobs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Drain appropriate automobile fluids (gasoline, antifreeze, A/C etc.) to assist with the processing of vehicles Remove batteries and jacks from vehicles Remove catalytic converters from vehicles as needed Remove tires and rims from vehicles Yard maintenance including clean up and parts disposal Vehicle inventory and record keeping Maintain clean work area Notify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or CAEC/GED, or must pass a company comprehension assessment No experience necessary but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrap yard/auto part environment will be considered an asset Loader operator experience will be considered an asset Must have Class 5 license to drive the yard vehicle KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Knowledge of automotive components is an asset Knowledge of automotive components is a definite asset Able to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting, and pushing and pulling Willing and able to work in variable weather conditions including hot, dry summer conditions and cold, harsh winter conditions Organized and able to prioritize competing priorities Strong communication skills – communicates clearly and concisely, verbally, over mobile radio devices and in writing Polite and friendly with a customer service orientation Strong work ethic – uses time efficiently Able to work with minimal supervision/general oversight Must have reliable transportation to and from work (remote location, not accessible by bus) Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits! The Processor is responsible for draining automotive fluids, removing parts such as batteries and catalytic converters, and maintaining the yard area. They must also ensure accurate vehicle inventory records and adhere to all safety regulations.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Class 5 driver's license. While no experience is required, familiarity with automotive components and manufacturing environments is considered an asset.
