Orlick Industries is an automotive parts supplier producing aluminum components for many varieties of vehicles, with Honda being our largest customer. Material Handler/ Forklift Operator Position Summary: The Material Handler/ Forklift Operator is responsible for safely maintaining the flow of goods through each step of the production process and ensuring all materials are stored in an appropriate manner. Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour weekly rotating shifts Why Join Orlick Industries? Benefits program including dental, vision care, prescription medication, and extended health care coverage Annual wage reviews and increases Tuition reimbursement program Pension contributions Cost coverage for safety work boots Employee events Job Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain the effective flow of production parts from cast, to work in process, to finished goods Ensure all materials are stored and maintained in an appropriate manner Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (forklift, etc.) to facilitate continuous production Monitor production lines and keep supplied with required components Monitor on-hand inventory of component parts Record information using appropriate documentation and attach identifying labels to products Assist with shipping functions as required Skills & Qualifications: *Forklift experience/ license is required* Must have the ability to communicate effectively Previous inventory experience an asset Working knowledge of manufacturing process and parts an asset **This posting is for an existing vacancy** Orlick Industries welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid forklift license and have the ability to communicate effectively. Previous experience in inventory management and knowledge of manufacturing processes are considered assets.
