Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Executive Director, Finance and Corporate Services is a key contributor to the Executive Leadership Team. This position provides enterprise-wide strategic financial leadership and executive oversight of the Finance and Corporate Services division, which encompasses Finance and Assessment Services, Legislative and Administrative Services and Information Services. The Executive Director is responsible for the Town’s long-term fiscal sustainability, including financial planning, taxation and reserve strategies, debt and capital financing, utility funding models, infrastructure lifecycle sustainability, and enterprise financial risk management. This position provides financial advice to the CAO and Council on all matters affecting the Town’s financial health and strategic direction. The Executive Director also provides divisional leadership across Corporate Services, setting direction for service delivery, organizational culture, people leadership, and operational performance, ensuring divisional objectives are aligned with Council priorities and the Town’s Municipal Strategic Plan. This is an executive-level appointment. The holder of this position exercises significant independent judgment, advises elected officials, manages confidential and sensitive corporate information, and is accountable to both the CAO and, through reporting structures, to Council on matters of financial governance and accountability.

Provides enterprise-wide strategic financial leadership and executive oversight for the Finance and Corporate Services division. Responsible for the Town's long-term fiscal sustainability, financial governance, and alignment of divisional objectives with the Municipal Strategic Plan.

Requires an executive-level professional capable of exercising significant independent judgment and advising elected officials. Must have expertise in financial risk management, taxation, and corporate services leadership.
