We are currently seeking a highly skilled, organized, efficient, and detail-oriented *Ultrasound Technologist* to join the Diagnostic Imaging Team on a *Part-Time and/or Casual basis*. This position?s focus is performing ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients for a variety of conditions, including the monitoring of reproductive health and guiding infertility treatments. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in accordance with regulations. Clinical and interpersonal skills will be utilized daily. This role requires expertise in operating equipment, communicating results, and providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare patients for testing, explain procedures, verify pertinent medical history, and ensure compassionate support throughout their visit. * Perform various ultrasound procedures including: general ultrasound, OB/GYN, fertility, abdominal, and small parts as per physician requests, ensuring high-quality images and accurate and precise measurements. * Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire and evaluate diagnostic images. * Assess image quality and make real-time adjustments to optimize visualization of structures and pathology. * Provide preliminary findings to the physician/radiologist while ensuring a high standard of diagnostic accuracy. * Ensure all images meet technical and diagnostic requirements. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the clinic?s imaging system and in accordance with regulatory and clinic guidelines. * Adhere to all IPAC regulations. * Communicate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate patient care. * Bring forward maintenance needs, ensuring proper calibration and functionality of equipment. * Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures, including infection control and patient confidentiality protocols. * Stay up to date with advancements in ultrasound techniques and technology through professional development and continuing education. * Document patient interactions accurately and completely. * Stay up to date with industry best practices, advancements in technology and techniques, and compliance guidelines. * Adhere to infection control and workplace safety protocols. * Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards of care. * Duties will vary from time to time to support the operational needs of the department and clinic. Qualifications: * Must be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of the team. * Must be adaptable and able to work on a variety of ultrasound equipment and be comfortable with transvaginal scanning. * Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound program. * Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) as a DMS. * Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS certifications preferred. * Experience/certification in general ultrasound, OB/GYN, fertility, abdominal, and small parts. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating ultrasound machines and various imaging modalities (e.g., Doppler, 3D/4D imaging). * Experience in vascular, MSK and breast are an asset. * Registration with BORN Ontario for Nuchal Translucency exams an asset. * Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System). * Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to patient care. * Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced and emotionally sensitive environment. * Valid CPR certification. * Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other computer
