The Autonomous Systems Capability Development Manager oversees the development, management, and marketing of OSI Maritime Autonomous Capabilities and reports to the Vice President business Development. What will you do? • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for OSI’s autonomous maritime systems capability development • Direct support to OSI’s Global Business Development effort to market and sell OSI’s autonomous products • Define product requirements and specifications based on market analysis, customer feedback, and military needs • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting maritime autonomy • OSI’s Internal and external subject matter expert for Autonomous Maritime Systems product offerings, working with Business and Product Development and key-customers • Specifying Customer requirements for current and future Autonomous Maritime Systems product by conducting market surveys using multiple channels including visits to Customers • Ensure alignment of Product Development activities with OSI’s strategic goals and objectives • Conduct initial and ongoing market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for autonomous maritime systems, including visits to Customers • Gather and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and ensure OSI remains competitive in the field of maritime autonomy • Support development of and deploy key market messages and communications strategies for OSI with marketing support, including presentations, demonstrations, and associated marketing material • Generating significant revenue streams through the development, management and marketing of OSI’s autonomous products • Work with BD, Product Development and other stakeholders to evaluate and prioritise opportunities and in conjunction with BD develop win strategies What will you bring? • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience combined with some post-secondary education • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills • Demonstrated ability to learn complex software products • Experience with Military or Governmental customers • Experience with Uncrewed Surface Vessels or Uncrewed Underwater Vessels • Ability to communicate effectively to people with diverse backgrounds Why work for OSI? • Collaborative Culture: Work with a talented and supportive team that values innovation and teamwork. • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: OSI is committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute their best. • Growth Opportunities: We invest in our employees' professional development and career growth with an annual employee driven development program. • Competitive Benefits: Enjoy health, dental, RSP, vacation and a healthy work-life balance environment!
