Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Feed Production Associate at our Feed Mill located in Langley, BC. We operate three food and pharmacy stores (including one with a fashion and hardware department), thirty Angry Otter liquor stores, one feed mill, two bulk petroleum facilities, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, and multiple gas station/convenience stores. Product transfers and filling product bins. Loading bulk truck equipment and operating text lines. Mix all product required for sacking or retail bulk sales using Mattis System. Operate a pelleting equipment. Record all mixes in accordance with HACCP requirements. Comply with all CFIA and all other Federal regulations, both in quality and safety. Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for Team Member’s engagement and ensuring the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Feed Manufacturing Operations and: Preference for candidates who hold their Power Engineering Class 5 Steam Ticket Certificate or is willing to uptain within first 18 months of employment . Must have math skills, basic computer skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. The ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple time demands. Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Motivation and ability to work under pressure and in a busy environment is required. Must be committed to a SAFE working environment. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
