Job Title: Apigee Developer Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Onsite (hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 60-65/hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 14th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED Mandatory Skills: Design, develop, and deploy API Proxies using Apigee Edge/X/Hybrid for secure and scalable API management. Build reusable Apigee policies using JavaScript, Python, and Java Callouts for authentication, authorization, payload transformation, and error handling. Develop and maintain Shared Flows for logging, security, rate limiting, CORS, and fault handling across APIs. Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, API Keys, HMAC, and Threat Protection. Design and consume REST APIs, with strong knowledge of HTTP methods, headers, status codes, and JSON/XML payloads. Configure routing, conditional flows, target endpoints, and API lifecycle management while ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and enterprise-grade API solutions.
