Support Body Engineering model changes and assist with equipment setup, trials, and production start-up at Cambridge and Woodstock, Ontario, with possible support for other plants.

Duration: 12 months, possible extension Job Description: Technician, Body Weld Seibi. Commissioning new Body Weld equipment at Factory and Machine vendor sites. Robot teaching, PLC troubleshooting, Equipment inspection/confirmation Support TMNA Body Engineering for Body weld model change activities. Primary project focus at Cambridge + Woodstock, Ontario, Canada sites, with possible support of other plant locations. Requirements: 2-year technical degree (A.S.) or equivalent work experience. Experience in industrial maintenance, robot programming, PLC logic modification and troubleshooting Offline and/or online robot programming Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended Prepare and confirm new Body Weld equipment at the vendors Support weld machine Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials Additional Desired Qualifications: Experience with automated robotic welding (spot/arc) and robotic material handling preferred. Industrial maintenance. Body weld shop experience an asset.

Requirements

Requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience, along with experience in industrial maintenance, robot programming, and PLC logic modification and troubleshooting. Experience with automated robotic welding, robotic material handling, and Body Weld shops is preferred or considered an asset.
