Job Title: Java Developer with AI Location: Montreal, QC Work Arrangement: Hybrid-3 Days onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 55-64 /hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 30th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development with strong coding expertise. Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable distributed systems. Hands-on expertise in multi-threading, concurrency, performance optimization, and application tuning. Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments with strong command-line and troubleshooting skills. Basic Python scripting experience for automation and development tasks. Experience building RESTful APIs, Microservices-based applications, and implementing modern software design patterns. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar coding assistants. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
