Job Title: Kakfa Admin Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid-2-3 Days onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 55-60 /hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 30th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED 5+ years of hands-on experience in Apache Kafka Administration with expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise Kafka environments. Strong experience in Kafka Cluster Installation, Configuration, and Management, including broker setup, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades. Proficiency in Topic, Partition, and Replication Management to ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability. Hands-on experience in Kafka Broker Administration, capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience with Kafka Connect for building and managing scalable data integration pipelines. Strong knowledge of Schema Registry for centralized schema management and compatibility enforcement. Expertise in Consumer Group Management, offset monitoring, load balancing, and consumer performance optimization. Hands-on experience implementing Kafka Security, including SSL/TLS, SASL authentication, ACLs, encryption, and secure access control.
