Job Title: Lab Admin/ Data Center Admin Location: Markham, ON Work Arrangement: 5 Days onsite Employment Type: Contract Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 35-44/hr on Incorporated Application Deadline: Oct 30th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED Hands-on experience with Operating System installation and administration, including Windows Server, Linux, and Unix. Strong knowledge of Linux Administration and Linux commands. Experience working in Data Center / Lab environments, including server deployment and infrastructure support. Good understanding of data center cabling, port mapping, cable types, and connectivity. Knowledge of basic hardware troubleshooting with strong logical problem-solving and resolution skills. Experience with rack mounting, cabling, and deployment of Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment is a plus. Knowledge of RAID levels and storage configurations is preferred. They should understand cabling, port mapping, connectivity, and basic hardware troubleshooting; Cisco Layer 2 equipment deployment and RAID or storage configuration knowledge are preferred.
