Job Title: Senior Kafka Developer Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid-2 Days onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 45-48 /hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 30th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining event-driven applications using Apache Kafka. Strong hands-on expertise with Kafka Streams for building scalable real-time stream processing applications. Experience implementing and managing Kafka Connect for seamless integration with external data sources and enterprise systems. Proficiency in Java for developing high-performance, distributed applications and microservices. Strong experience in designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs for system integration and communication. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools to automate build, testing, and deployment processes. Experience using Dynatrace for application performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issue analysis. Strong knowledge of AWS services for deploying, monitoring, and managing cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
