SOUTHLAND is currently offering a hiring bonus for new School Bus Drivers. Drivers assigned to a regular route are eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus. Spare drivers are eligible for a $500 hiring bonus. This will be paid out following six months of employment. As a School Bus Driver, you will work a split shift, being paid for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Drivers work during the school year and are given time off in July and August. Requirements * Valid driver’s license (FREE S endorsement training provided) * Organized, punctual and reliable * Ability to communicate effectively * Working knowledge of the area and map-reading skills * Commitment to excellence in customer service

Drivers are responsible for the safe daily transportation of students to and from school. They must maintain a commitment to safety and provide excellent customer service during their split-shift schedule.

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and effective communication skills. A working knowledge of the area and map-reading abilities are also required.
