THE DETAILS: You’ll be joining our King St. team at 222 King Street Toronto, ON, in a FULL TIME capacity • You’ll develop a rapport with trade clients, actively listening to identify their needs, guiding them through the sales process, and providing product knowledge to help identify potential trade opportunities • You’ll have the opportunity to network, and make connections with new potential clients via cold calls, emails, and in person/virtual appointments • You’ll be responsible for tracking and following up on trade quotes/orders, maintaining a database of trade members, and acting as a point of communication to keep them engaged with the brand and up to date on store events & promotions • You’ll support store managers and trade project managers in executing trade promotions and in-store events WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: • Four (4) years of experience in retail sales, or experience in a design/trade environment is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered • A high school diploma/GED. Post-secondary education in Project Management and retail customer service would be an asset • Proficiency in retail operations and systems (Point of Sale, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, InDesign) • The ability to self-motivate, with strong organization and project management skills. Can work proactively to develop short and long term goals, and then execute them as part of a team • Working knowledge of the retail furniture industry, and an understanding of how to scout designers and turns prospects into clients • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates should have at least four years of experience in retail sales or a design/trade environment and possess a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in retail operations and software such as Microsoft Office and InDesign is required, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
