Job summary
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse preferably with experience in fluoroscopy-guided procedures to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, a commitment to patient-centered care, and hands-on experience supporting fluoroscopy-guided diagnostics and interventions. Patient Assessment: Completes patient assessments, health teaching and care pre, during, and post fluoroscopy procedures Assist physicians with image-guided interventions (ex. epidurals, radio frequency ablation, nerve blocks, joint injections). Monitors patient vital signs, pain and symptoms pre, intra and post procedures Monitors patients and provides emergency assistance as necessary IV and venipuncture skills Educate patients and families regarding medical procedures and post-care instructions. Documents nursing care and patient status in the electronic medical record (EMR). Fluoroscopy Procedure Support: Maintains sterile fields Assists the physician and MRT as required Adheres to radiation safety protocols and participates in radiation safety training Enjoys a fast-paced environment Comfortable wearing lead aprons, dosimeters PRP preparation Team Collaboration: Works closely with Physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Participates in quality improvement, safety initiatives and mentoring of new staff as required Willingness to work in other clinics as required Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BScN preferred. Licensure: Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or equivalent provincial Current Professional Liability program certificate Certifications: BLS Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience. Experience in a clinic managing adverse events and /or hospital emergency setting is strongly preferred At least 6 months of experience in a fluoroscopy or interventional radiology setting is strongly preferred.

Requirements
