About this Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Production Foreman, the Field Operator will place a priority on health, safety and environment. The chosen candidate will have a full working knowledge of production facilities, work independently and be capable of operating gas compressors, condensate stabilization facilities, high pressure multi well pads, have plunger lift experience and associated production. This is a high paced work environment area with proven assets and continued years of growth to advance your career. The candidate will reside or willing to relocate in the Rocky Mountain House/Eckville/Sylvan Lake area. Responsibilities: * Environment, Health & Safety must be a priority * Support and adhere to safe work practices and follow all Paramount policies and procedures * Startup and commissioning of new high pressure multi well pads * Conduct routine monitoring and maintenance of producing wells, well testing, compressors, lift gas, and pipeline pigging to ensure safe and efficient operations * Participate and follow compliance initiatives * Ensure operations are carried out in a cost-effective manner * Responsible for production tracking, fuel flare, and vent logs * Identifying deficiencies and recommending corrections to existing procedures to ensure the assigned field meets performance standards * Contribute to the team’s achievement of meeting business, environmental, health and safety targets, and KPI’s * Maintenance and housekeeping of facilities in general Qualifications: * High school diploma or 4th class power engineering certificate and/or completed GPO/PFO certificate is desired or willing to achieve * Minimum of 3 years of operating experience * Valid H2S and First Aid certifications along with a valid Class 5 Driver’s License * Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, time management and organizational effectiveness are critical to this position, must be flexible to changing work environments * Able to identify opportunities to improve operations, activities, processes and procedures * A disciplined work ethic, self-motivated, positive attitude and strong desire to contribute is essential in a fast-paced environment * Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to learn, adhere and work with all Paramount based software programs * Will be required to work an 8 days on /6 days off shift rotation, (10hr shifts) * Must be willing to work overtime and be on call when on shift Benefits of Joining the Paramount Team This position will provide you with an opportunity to leverage your skills in support of a Canadian-based energy company.
