Sales Supervisor – Retail PARAS FASHIONS LTD Location: Surrey, BC Wage: $38.50 per hour Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week Employment: Permanent, Full-time Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1

What you’ll do

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail salespersons and sales clerks Assign sales workers to duties Establish staff work schedules Supervise 1 to 2 retail sales employees Order jewellery, accessories and other merchandise Organize and maintain inventory Sell merchandise and provide specialized customer assistance Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters Resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Maintain effective merchandising and presentation of jewellery and accessories Assess customers' jewellery styling and customization requirements Assist customers with jewellery selection, styling and matching accessories Customize and modify jewellery according to customer requirements Perform minor jewellery repairs, adjustments and replacement of components, where required Provide input regarding jewellery styles, designs and merchandise selection

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have experience or demonstrated knowledge in: Jewellery customization and modification Minor jewellery repair and adjustments Jewellery styling and customer consultation Jewellery and accessory design Matching jewellery with clothing, occasions and customer preferences Custom work involving jewellery and fashion accessories Retail merchandising and product presentation Qualifications College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience Previous retail sales and supervisory experience Experience working with jewellery and/or fashion accessories Strong customer-service and communication skills Client-focused approach Ability to multitask English required Work Setting Jewellery store Retail service establishment Custom jewellery and accessory work On-site position in Surrey, BC
