Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for MAINLINE EXCAVATOR OPERATORS to join our UNDERGROUND DIVISION for the 2026 season. This position is a full -time seasonal role and offers competitive wage with benefits. The primary responsibilities, duties, and expectations of this position include, but are not limited to: Strong working knowledge of excavators and the ability to safely operate Perform pre/post trip inspections and general preventative maintenance of the equipment Understand and utilizes various shoring methods and safe excavation practices such as shields, boxes, air shoring, hydraulic shoring, and slide rails Understands and implements proper rigging techniques Work collaboratively with crewmembers and subcontracted trucks to complete work in an efficient manor Ability to keep machine tracks clean using a track shovel Understand and safely implement proper rigging techniques Requirements Valid Class 5 Driver's licence Able to work outside in all weather conditions Valid Ground Disturbance 201 Standard training (Alberta) is an asset Valid Confined Space Monitor/Entry training is an asset Benefits Competitive Wages/Salaries Health & Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Life Insurance RRSP Matching Opportunities for advancement Pay Scale $32 - $42 per hour based on experience Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment.
