As an Event Rental Team Member, you will play a key role in supporting birthday parties, private events, community rentals, and special functions held at our facilities.Key Responsibilities:Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service throughout their rental experience.Set up and take down tables, chairs, equipment, and event spaces.Conduct facility walkthroughs with renters before and after events.Monitor rentals to ensure facility rules and safety expectations are being followed.Perform cleaning and sanitization duties before, during, and after events.Assist with concession sales, party add-ons, and customer inquiries.Address minor issues and concerns professionally while seeking support when required.Complete opening and closing procedures.Maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment for guests of all ages.Qualifications:Minimum 16 years of age.Strong customer service and communication skills.Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.Comfortable interacting with children, families, and community groups.Able to lift and move tables, chairs, and event equipment.Previous customer service, recreation, event, hospitality, or childcare experience is considered an asset.First Aid/CPR certification is an asset but not required.Position Details:Casual part-time hours based on rental bookingsPrimarily evenings, weekends, and occasional holidaysTraining providedOpportunities for additional hours through special events and facility programsThe ideal candidate is:Friendly and approachableProfessional and dependableComfortable working evenings and weekendsAble to multitask and problem solve
