We are expanding across the region and looking for dedicated and compassionate Level I or Level II Dental Assistants to join our team. You will have the opportunity to be placed at one of our modern, state-of-the-art clinics across Kitchener, Waterloo, or Cambridge. Role Details Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available Compensation: $24.00 – $30.00 / hour (commensurate with certification level and experience) Schedule: Flexible availability required for Days, Evenings, and Weekends (Clinics operate 7 days a week with extended operating hours) Location: Dedicated placement at one clinic location within the KWC region (Kitchener, Waterloo, or Cambridge) What You’ll Do Chairside Support: Assist dentists during a variety of routine and complex clinical procedures, including extractions, root canals, bone grafts, and implant surgeries. Patient Care & Education: Guide patients through their appointments, explaining post-treatment care, oral hygiene practices, and treatment procedures with empathy and clarity. Sterilization & IPAC: Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in strict compliance with infection control protocols. Radiology & Diagnostics: Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans. Clinical Administration: Maintain accurate digital patient records, assist with inventory management, and support front desk operations with scheduling or patient intake when needed. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Certification: Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program (Level I or Level II certification). Certifications: Active HARP certification. Experience: 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience preferred, though motivated recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Communication & Tech Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and comfort with dental management software and digital tools. Availability: Evening and weekend availability to support clinic operating hours. Preferred Assets: Experience with iTero scanning. Up-to-date IPAC and WHMIS training. Why Join Passion Dental Group?
