Sheet Metal Worker (1 position, Category A salary) Requirements: * Grade 12 diploma or equivalent * Basic welding skills – CWB certification * Experience and/or training in the field is an asset * Must be detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship * Ability to read technical production drawings * Ability to use a computer to perform required tasks * Physical ability to carry and handle materials manually * Ability to use a measuring tape * Ability to read * Good manual dexterity * Ability to learn and work effectively in a team environment Main Responsibilities: * Successfully pass the CWB welding test (flat horizontal fillet weld) for aluminum * Understand basic welding symbols * Understand and apply practical welding methods * Inspect, clean, and prepare parts and equipment for welding * Work accurately to assemble metal parts using appropriate equipment and/or tools * Set up and operate machines to cut sheet metal or aluminum * Shape metal/aluminum according to dimensions specified in technical drawings * Inspect completed work and verify compliance with required specifications * Ensure compliance with company safety standards * Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor Pattison ID is an equal opportunity employer and complies with the Employment Equity Program.
