Job summary

Job Decsription: The Materials Analyst supports day to day Materials Operations, including receiving materials, inspection, put-away, kitting, picking, issuing production orders, processing stock transfers, and coordinating outbound deliveries. This role supports cycle counts, scrap processing, non-conforming material handling, and shelf-life control activities to help maintain quality compliance and inventory accuracy. This role will also participate in excess inventory reduction and lean manufacturing projects and initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production Scheduling, Quality Engineering, Shipping and Receiving, Buyers, Suppliers, Stores, and NPI Coordinators. This position reports directly to the Materials Management Manager. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and put away materials in accordance with site procedures. Kit, pick, and issue materials to support production requirements. Process stock transfers and outbound deliveries accurately and on time. Perform cycle counts and shelf-life control activities to support inventory accuracy and quality compliance. Replenish the KANBAN two-bin system and escalate shortages to the Site Supply Specialist as needed to mitigate stock-out risks. Support containment, quarantine, and disposition activities for non-conforming materials. Process scrap materials in accordance with approved procedures. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and document retention policies. Participate in Stores 5S initiatives and annual physical inventory activities. Other excess inventory reduction and lean manufacturing projects and initiatives. Support other materials management activities as assigned. Qualifications You Must Have: College diploma in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, materials management, or a related functional area. We Value Working knowledge of SAP. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience in the aerospace industry.
