Depending on your assigned project as a Engineering/Technical Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: Responsibilities Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates Participation in project meetings Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs. Issues warranties Takes/coordinates progress photos Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings Performance of quantity takeoffs Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings Set-up and maintenance of records Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software. Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD Monitoring of workforce productivity. Qualifications Enrolled in a post secondary insitution and either returning or graduating after the end of this work term Have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset. Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
