Depending on your assigned project as a Proposals Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: Works with a small team of Proposal Specialists on submission documents that may include: Expressions of Interest (EOI); Requests for Qualifications (RFQ); Requests for Proposal (RFP). Assists with RFP review process including reviewing RFP requirements, development of proposal outline and timeline/assignments Participates in the kick-off ‘Strategic Visioning’ and Proposal Planning session, ensuring that all key proposal stakeholders are represented. Assists with researching key submission data necessary to create a submission document. Assists with translating a proposal ‘Vision’ into a compelling proposal layout and graphic design working primarily in InDesign, and creating compelling graphics and visual communication strategies, including strategic image selection and/or acquisition. Assists in the assembly and review of responses for compliance, accuracy and content, and coordinate/ participate in review sessions with teammates/ stakeholders to ensure the integrity of all documents and solutions. Assists with filing and organizing of resources within Marketing & Communications environment. Works with our communications specialist to develop/prepare messaging and content for community involvement initiatives and campaigns. Assists with writing and editing material for conferences and events. Captures and organizes photography for ads, social media, and other marketing materials. Other duties as required. Qualifications Working towards a degree or diploma in a communications-related field (communications, public relations, marketing, etc.). Strong written communication and collaboration skills. Competency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Knowledge of social media platforms and the ability to tailor content to each platform as required.
