We are seeking a Networking and Cloud Infrastructure Student in Edmonton, Alberta, that is available for 8 months starting in January, 2027. As an Networking and Cloud Infrastructure Student you will contribute to our team by:Responsibilities Assists in provisioning, monitoring, and maintaining mission-critical cloud infrastructure Assists in the development and maintaining of policies and governance in our cloud infrastructure Assists with configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network equipment (switches, routers, SD-WAN, wireless) Remediate incident escalations from customers, vendors, and other Business Technology teams Assists with implementing AI processes, automations, business process improvements, and scripting. Assists with Research and Development initiatives and participate in Proof-of-Concepts Maintaining accurate and up-to-date system documentation Supports the team in providing business process, application requirements definition, and documentation for a given project Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned What you will bring to the role: Currently enrolled in a management information system, information technology, computer science, or operations management program Always on top of the latest technology trends Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details Knowledge of basic networking concepts – Subnetting, LAN, WAN, VLAN, etc. Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting best practices is an asset Ability & willingness to learn programming or scripting languages, such as PowerShell or .NET, to accomplish the completion of one or more automation tasks Ability to leverage AI to maximise productivity Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Co-Pilot is an asset Next Step: Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.
