You will contribute to our open and inclusive workspace in your own and confident way What We Are Looking For Do you have a passion for working with children and LOVE sports? We are looking for confident characters to teach foundational soccer skills to our 3–12 year old soccer stars. Pedalheads Soccer is a program like no other which requires our coaches to channel their inner child and put their imagination and creativity to the test. Our coaches use humor, songs and story-telling to make our little players fall in love with soccer. We are looking for coaches who can instruct our After School camps that run on Mondays from September until early February. This role would be well-fitted for someone who has, or is working on, their Early Childhood Education qualification or enjoys team sports or performing arts. Experience in either playing or coaching sports is preferred though this does not have to be soccer specific, as full training will be given. Responsibilities * Teaching our weekly Pedalheads Soccer programs for children ages 3-12 years * Actively introduce children to new soccer skills through our engaging curriculum * Ensure the health and safety of children at our classes and camps * Act as a positive role model and leader at all times * Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress Skills, Knowledge and Experience * A confident communicator who can get on the children's level and encourage and support them to achieve their individual potentials * Physically fit and able to work 4+ hours per day * Reliable and able to commit to Monday afternoons * Has 2+ years of experience with children * Possesses or can attain a current First Aid CPR-C certificate prior to starting * Holds a satisfactory criminal record check (for employees 18+) or character reference check (for employees under 18) Wage $16.00 - $18.00/per hour Locations * Lycee International De Calgary Schedule * September 14th - February 8th * No sessions on October 12th & 26th and December 21st & 28th * 18 sessions total * Mondays 3:00pm - 5:00pm, session runs 3:30pm - 4:30pm * Work location: On site Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Pedalheads is committed to creating and upholding a diverse, inclusive and equitable environment that is respectful and welcoming to everyone. Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience working with children and possess or be willing to obtain a First Aid CPR-C certificate. A background in Early Childhood Education, sports, or performing arts is preferred.
