Club: Vancouver Rangers FC Location: Vancouver, BC (UBC, Kitsilano Secondary, Musqueam, and Trillium Turf) Season: September – March Pay: $20.00 - $35.00/hr (+ 4% in lieu of benefits) Expected Hours: 4-10 per week Who We Are Vancouver Rangers FC is where Vancouver’s future soccer stars start their journey. Opportunity We are looking for two distinct types of coaches to join our team this fall. Divisional Head Coach (BCCSL Teams) You are passionate about tactics, player development, and the competitive spirit of the BCCSL. * * The Vibe: Passionate, technical, and professional. * The Role: You will be the Head Coach for a Div 1, 2, or 3 team (Ages 10-13). * Schedule: Firm commitment to Tuesday & Friday evenings (Training at Trillium) + Saturday games for the entire season. * Travel: Home games in Vancouver; away games across the Lower Mainland (Vancouver,North Van, Burnaby, Richmond, etc.). * Ideal Candidate: You’reready to take full ownership of your squad. You know how to balance technical development with a competitive edge, andyou’recomfortable being the face of the team for both players and parents. Academy Development Coach You are a superstar in engaging kids, and are the reason a 7-year-old falls in love with soccer. * * The Vibe: High energy, creative, anddevelopment-focused. * The Role: Lead academy-style sessions for our younger players (Ages 5-9). * Schedule: Firm commitment to Monday & Friday evenings (Training at UBC or Kitsilano Secondary), OR Tuesday &Thursday evenings (Training at Musqueam Turf Field)+ Saturday games for the entire season. * Ideal Candidate: You have energy for days, and the patience of a saint. You’re a pro at keeping 12 six-year-olds moving, learning, and actually having fun for 60 minutes straight. Your Responsibilities * Deliver high-performance curriculum in a FUN and inclusive setting. * Act as a positive role model and leader for Vancouver’s youth. * Communicate with parents regarding player progress and logistics. * Ensure a safe, organized, and professional environmentat all times. Skills & Requirements * Experience: 2+ years of coaching is strongly preferred. * Qualifications: A C-License (CONCACAF/UEFA) or Canada Soccer grassroots qualifications are preferred for both roles. * Certifications: Current Standard First Aid/CPR-C and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check. * Logistics: Must be located in Metro Vancouver and ready to start in September. For Divisional Coaches, a vehicle is a major asset for away games. * Fitness: Ability to be active and on your feet for 3+ hours. Why Vancouver Rangers? Our coaches consistently stay for the culture. Requirements
Candidates should have 2+ years of coaching experience and hold relevant soccer certifications such as a C-License or Canada Soccer grassroots qualifications. A valid Criminal Record Check and Standard First Aid/CPR-C certification are mandatory.
