The ideal candidate will be able to produce clean, high-quality welds on thin-gauge stainless steel components while maintaining tight tolerances and minimizing distortion.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform TIG welding on <b><strong>20-gauge stainless steel</strong></b> and other thin-gauge materials.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.</li><li>Fit, tack, and weld stainless steel components to specification.</li><li>Ensure welds are clean, smooth, and meet quality standards.</li><li>Inspect finished welds for defects and perform touch-ups as required.</li><li>Operate grinders, polishers, and other fabrication equipment.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li><li>Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum 5<b><strong> years of TIG welding experience</strong></b>, preferably with thin-gauge stainless steel.</li><li>Strong experience welding <b><strong>20-gauge stainless steel</strong></b> with minimal burn-through and distortion.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.</li><li>Experience with fitting and fabrication is an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of welding safety practices.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Proficient in TIG welding stainless steel.</li><li>Experience welding material from <b><strong>20 gauge</strong></b> and up.</li><li>Ability to pass a practical <b><strong>TIG welding test</strong></b>.</li><li>Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.</li><li>Legally authorized to work in Canada.</li></ul></div></div>
