Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for a Regular Part Time Educational Assistant with Early Learning Services based out of Busby School (B-PREP) AND Eleanor Hall School (C-PREP). This is a combined position and travel between schools is required. The successful candidate must be a self-directed team player who is interested in working with children with diverse needs in the preschool program. Hours of work will be Monday and Wednesday at 7.5 hours/day following the school calendar. This position starts as soon as possible and ends June 7, 2027. The Division Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3600 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta. PHSD also provides education to over 10,000 students from within and beyond our borders, through our online school, Vista Virtual School. In small, play-based settings, children receive instruction in specific skills. Qualifications/Requirements Experience with children with complex needs Familiar with and experience in early intervention An understanding of early childhood development and experience and training in working with preschool children with developmental disabilities Able to work as a member of a preschool team Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed Experience with speech language support and behavioural issues an asset First Aid would be an asset For Further Information, Please Contact Kelly Ferguson (Principal) at 780-674-8565 This competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
