Victoria, BC. This is a full-time position offering approximately **32 – 40 hours per week**. **Our ideal candidate is:** - Available to work any day of the week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays - Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused - Confident and a reliable leader who can support the team - Can make decisions and stay organized in a fast-paced environment - Able to take initiative to support daily store operations, including merchandising, stocking, and safety - Able to stand for long periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs **WHAT YOU’LL DO** - Lead shifts and supports daily operations - Coach and supports team members to help them succeed in their roles - Respond calmly to emergencies and helps maintain a safe environment - Address performance and safety concerns while communicating clearly with the team - Confidently assist customers - Follow all regulations regarding selling age-restricted products - Stock and merchandise shelves accurately - Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe site - Ensure products are well displayed and meet quality standards - Safely and effectively operate required equipment - Follow all safety procedures **WHAT WE OFFER** In addition to a wage range of **$19.94 - $23.50 per hour**, with the starting wage based on experience, we offer a great benefits package that includes: - Quarterly performance bonuses and annual profit sharing - Excellent group benefits (health, dental, vision) for employees working 24+ hours per week - Up to 6% pension matching opportunities - $300 reimbursement per year for personal health and wellness - Employee discount programs - Educational funding support - Paid volunteer opportunities - Paid top up for parental and compassionate care leave - Career growth and development opportunities Peninsula Co-op is an equal opportunity employer.
