***$5,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus for Qualified Candidates*** AS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT: The Medical Assistant, in support of the physician or mid-level provider will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the office. He/she will be required to coordinate the care with other Penn Highlands services, or outside health care providers. The Medical Assistant will serve as a liaison between the physician, the mid-level provider and all other health care providers. The Medical Assistant supports physicians and mid-level providers in developing and implementing patient care plans. They act as a liaison between providers and other healthcare services to coordinate patient care.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of a Medical Assistant program. NCCT or NHA certification is required within two years of hire, and AHA CPR certification is required within the first year.
