Job summary
Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. **Counterbalance truck experience required. Candidate must be able to pass an equipment/forklift test.** This position is Temporary-Part Time to start and supports a three shift rotation. Candidates must be available to work the following shifts: * Night Shift: 11pm – 7am * Day Shift: 7am – 3pm * Afternoon Shift: 3pm – 11pm Pay: $27.17/hour Major Responsibilities: * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) * Loads and unloads trailers * Opens and closes dock doors * Maintain a clean and safe work area * Move materials within the warehouse * Complies with all safety requirements * Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system * Update existing records * Review data for errors or inconsistencies * Communicating with internal departments for clarification * Use basic math skills * Complete quality control checks * Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor About Penske Logistics Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing and supply chain management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. Requirements
Requires at least one year of experience with a sit-down counterbalance forklift and a high school diploma. Candidates must be able to pass an equipment test and work a rotating three-shift schedule.
