Founded in 1974, People’s Light serves as one of Pennsylvania’s largest professional non-profit theatres, known for our resident company of artists, eclectic mix of productions, and innovative work with young people. We make plays drawn from many sources to entertain, inspire, and engage our community, and extend our mission of making and experiencing theatre through arts education programs that excite curiosity about, and deepen understanding of, the world around us. These plays and programs bring people together and provide opportunities for reflection, discovery, and celebration.

Lead front-of-house staff and volunteers, coordinate timing with stage management, and help resolve ticketing issues. Welcome and assist patrons, manage theatre operations and incidents, support events and accessibility devices, and maintain public spaces and concessions.

Manage front-of-house operations for performances, including patron engagement, staff and volunteer coordination, concessions, vendor relationships, and financial reconciliation. Coordinate community programming and events, support marketing activities, and collaborate with internal teams to improve the patron experience and earned revenue.

Support marketing campaigns for productions and events by managing calendars, deadlines, advertising materials, vendor coordination, and campaign logistics. Help organize promotional events and community outreach, maintain signage and collateral inventory, and provide administrative support to the marketing team.
